Eduroam - SecureW2 on iPhone and iPad

Overview

The following is the process on how to use SecureW2 on an iPhone and/or iPad to connect to the Eduroam wifi. 

You will need to visit https://netconnect.usf.edu/ to perform this process.

MFA

To be able to successfully complete this process, you will need to have your MFA device nearby for approval after sign in.


  1. After navigating to https://netconnect.usf.edu/, select Sign In.


  2. Enter your NetID@usf.edu account and select Next.


  3. Enter your NetID Password and select Sign in.


  4. Place a checkmark at Don't ask again for 60 days and then approve your log in through you MFA method.


  5. Place a check at Don't show this again and select Yes.


  6. Select JoinNow.


  7. Select Allow.


  8. Once the profile has been downloaded successfully, select Close.


  9. You will be given instructions on how to install the new profile that was just downloaded.


  10. Navigate to your device Setting and select Profile Downloaded.


  11. Select Install.


  12. Select Install.


  13. Select Install.


  14. If the profile was downloaded successfully, you should see a message of Enrolling Certificate at the top.


  15. Select Done.


  16. Once complete, you will see University of South Florida as a new Configuration Profile.


  17. Navigate to your device's Wi-Fi to check to see if it connected automatically. If it did not, at this time, select eduroam to connect.


Eduroam Connection Failure

If the above steps fail to connect the device to Eduroam, you can attempt to connect by selecting Eduroam from the wifi options and enter your full USF email address (NetID@usf.edu) as the username and NetID password.

Please note by using this method, if your NetID password is reset, you will need to reconnect to Eduroam again.
