Overview

The USFCard is the official identification card of the University of South Florida. The USFCard is a multi-functional card with digitized photo and electronic identification and validation for departments needing to verify student and/or employee status. The USFCard was designed as a platform for a multitude of services and functions.

Cardholder Responsibilities

A. Use of the USFCard by anyone other than the person to whom it was issued is strictly prohibited.
B. The cardholder is subject to disciplinary actions or other penalties for improper use of the card.
C. The cardholder is responsible for any and all losses associated with the card.
D. Punching holes, marking on the card, adding stickers or altering the card in any way is strictly prohibited.

Card Request (New and Replacement)

New students should request their initial USFCard through MyBullsPath, or directly at the USFCard Request Site.

All other requests including card replacements should be placed online at the USFCard Request Site

Please be prepared to submit a recent color photo with a white background along with an image of a valid government issued photo identification. 

Note

Online card requests are normally processed in 7-10 business days, for urgent requests please contact the Card Center after submitting your request.

Distance Learning Students

If you are a non-local student who is part of an Innovative Education Online Program, please contact the Card Center with your mailing address at idcard@usf.edu for the online form. This includes 100% online graduate degree programs and graduate certificate programs only.


Note

This does not apply to students temporarily online due to COVID-19.

Card Pick-up/Distribution

Tampa Campus 

We will be distributing cards in the Student Services Building (5th floor), Room 5012. Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm beginning January 4, 2021.  

St. Petersburg Campus

Cards can be picked up at the University Student Center (USC) during normal hours. Cards are printed and ready for pickup every three hours starting at 9 am, Monday - Friday.  For example, if you submit your application at 10 am, it will not be ready for pickup until after 12 PM.  Applications submitted after 6 PM, will be available the next business day (Mon-Fri). Sarasota-Manatee Campus

Cards can be picked up at the USF Sarasota-Manatee Cashier’s Office (SMC B-116) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Please note that cards for which applications were approved after 5:00 p.m. will not be available until the next business day. 

Warning

You must present a valid government issued photo ID to receive your USFCard.

Payment

Students: Your card cost will be charged to your Oasis account.
 
All others: Payment options include Visa/MasterCard at the Tampa and St. Petersburg Campus. At other campuses, customers may pay with a credit card or debit card at the campus USFCard Centers. For the safety and security of everyone, customers who wish to pay by cash or check must do so at the Cashier's Office. The Cashier's Office will provide a receipt which may be taken to the USFCard Center as proof of payment.
