Assists a faculty member with a graduate level class.Typically includes a 9(fall/spring) or 6 (summer)-hour in-state tuition waiver, 10-20 hours per week. Assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or better in their upper division coursework, must be degree-seeking and enrolled full time. titleInternational Academic Development Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to assist degree seeking College of Public Health students who plan to travel abroad with a clear purpose to increase: (1) Training in specific methodologies to improve professional and academic development, (2) Improving proficiencies and skills in an academic discipline as endorsed by a faculty advisor, or (3) Increasing cross-cultural competencies which apply to a specific aspect of the students’ academic program. This will be awarded on a competitive basis and will range from $500-$2000. This application must be submitted at the start of the academic semester for which they are seeking scholarship funds.   • International Field Experience Scholarship

    This scholarship is intended to assist degree seeking College of Public Health students who plan to do an International Field Experience. This will be awarded on a competitive basis and to be used to help defray the airfare and insurance costs associated with the IFE. This application must be submitted prior to leaving for the Field Experience in order to take effect. This program is administered through the College of Public Health Office of International Programs.
