This scholarship is intended to assist degree seeking College of Public Health students who plan to travel abroad with a clear purpose to increase: (1) Training in specific methodologies to improve professional and academic development, (2) Improving proficiencies and skills in an academic discipline as endorsed by a faculty advisor, or (3) Increasing cross-cultural competencies which apply to a specific aspect of the students’ academic program. This will be awarded on a competitive basis and will range from $500-$2000. This application must be submitted at the start of the academic semester for which they are seeking scholarship funds.
