*All MPH degrees at the College of Public Health require 42 credits minimum.  In this dual degree the Public Health courses listed and the common Nursing/Public Health courses meet this requirement. NGR 6638 Health Promotion Theories and Strategies Across the Lifespan will substitute for the PHC 6410 core course for dual nursing MS/MPH students. 

In addition to the overall Master of Public Health degree competencies, graduates will be able to:

1. A continuing goal of the Dual Degree M.S./M.P.H. Program is to assure that program graduates meet the requirements to write national certification examinations for adult nurse practitioners and the national certification examination for occupational health nurses (COHN-S).
