PhD student, you need to complete some tasks

We do offer an on-campus orientation during the few days prior to the Fall semester, but because you are in a primarily online program, you are not required to attend. You will be offered a choice of several online DrPH orientation sessions during the Summer semester. This page will help you get started now.

titleAcademic Common Market

Academic Common Market - (this is not a USF webpage). The Academic Common Market (ACM) is a tuition-savings program for full-time college students in the 16 Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) member states who want to pursue degrees in fields that are not offered by their in-state institutions. If you are an ACM student, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits per Fall/Spring and 6 credits in Summer in order to receive in-state tuition; otherwise you will have to pay out-of-state tuition and will lose your ACM residency status.

Students in this program must be a resident of the SREB member state and be admitted unconditionally into an out-of-state degree program that is listed in the Academic Common Market inventory. For a list of participating SREB member states and to view the ACM inventory, click here. Even though it is not listed, the DrPH is an approved program, but it may not be approved by all states in the agreement. We do know that Georgia has approved this, but you will have to check on your own state.

NOTE: Students must obtain a certificate from SREB and present it to Admissions for processing (fvera@usf.edu). If you do not enroll full-time and lose your ACM residency status, you can present your certificate again in any semester in which you intend to enroll full-time.
