In addition to the overall Master of Public Health degree competencies, Nutrition and Dietetics graduates will be able to: - Perform the Nutrition Care Process and use standardized nutrition language for individuals, groups and populations of differing ages and health status, in a variety of settings.
- Develop and implement advanced nutrition programs that promote population health in the community.
- Conduct applied practice research.
- Identify and advance leadership opportunities for expanded visibility and enhanced effectiveness of registered dietitians in serving the nutrition and health promotion needs of the public.
- Demonstrate effective communications skills for clinical and customer services in a variety of formats.
