Welcome to the USF College of Public Health, part of USF Health, dedicated to making lives better through improvements in health. We We look forward to having you join us as we continue to practice our passions in service to the public’s health, here in Tampa and around the world.
We have been living our ambitious strategic plan, building research strength in areas that matter to health: infectious disease control, reproductive health, health equity, chronic illness, environmental and social risk factors and global health systems. We We have launched a bold new curriculum in our Master of Public Health program, team-taught and based on models of adult and applied learning delivered in state of the art classrooms that utilize the latest in instructional technology. Our Our Doctor of Public Health program, delivered primarily online in response to student demand, continues to grow in numbers and in the diversity of student experience and aspirations. When we meet in our intensive annual sessions, the room is electric with excitement! We have also taken a new approach to our PhD students, recruiting them as a cohort and presenting them at the front-end with opportunities to explore their future as public health scholars, engaged in translational research that will benefit not only the field but the public’s health. And And our undergraduate program continues to produce outstanding graduates that are fully prepared to join the workforce or to pursue graduate or professional degree programs in an array of fields that impact population health.
We value our partnerships with institutions, organizations and neighborhoods that enable us to be part of a learning community that presents extraordinary opportunities for our students, as well as the communities they serve.
