titleObtain NetID and Health E-mail

NetID and USF Web Portal 
All students must establish a NetID and designate their HSC email address for all official USF internet communications. Go to www.usf.edu/it/documentation/netid.aspx to get your Net ID. Net ID is also required to access the myUSF portal which includes a variety of on-line services and access to course materials.HealthNET You need to sign up for a HealthNet account to get access to the Health network, services, and email. This email address is your primary source for communicating with the faculty and staff, and where you will receive important notifications from the college. To complete a New Account Request, go to: hsccf.hsc.usf.edu/healthAccount/accountRequest.cfc?method=view. Select Your Role as Student, Enter Your Date of Birth and U-number. Create your own password and security questions. An account will be created instantly. Note: Your email will be accessible in two days. titleStudent ID card

To obtain a Student ID Card, you can go to the ID Card Center, Student Service Building (SVC) 1032 (813-974-2357, idcard@usf.edu).  If you are an online student, you are still required to get a card, in order to access journal articles at the library and other services.  Instructions for getting an ID card can be found here.

To purchase textbooks please go to www.usfhealthshop.com or contact the USF Health Sciences Bookstore, MDC 1050, (813) 974-4984. For information about textbooks or readings for a particular course, contact the instructor by email. This information will also be available on the first day of class.
