Students who are identified as having a chemical dependency are referred to the HELPS Program forconsultation and then referred to the Florida Professional Resources Network (PRN). Successful entry into and treatment via this program will result in no additional action against the student. Should a student bedismissed by the PRN for non-compliance, this information will be provided to the APRC for consideration and may result in dismissal from the MD program.
