Kamala holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Master’s in Business Administration, worked as the Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment at Schiller International University, and as the Director of International Recruitment and Admissions at Ball State University. Kamala has traveled in China, India, Brazil, Turkey, the Middle East and Europe, and loves to experience and learn about new cultures, as well as read and exercise in her spare time.

Patricia came over to the College of Public Health from the Office of the Registrar with 4 ½ years of experience in higher education. While employed at the Office of the Registrar, she worked as an Enrollment Management Assistant for Client Services and as an Enrollment Management Specialist for Graduation and Records Management. Patricia is also a student here at the University of South Florida seeking a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology. In her free time Patricia enjoy working-out, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends.

Kristin Moretto, PhD, Director of Experiential Learning

Dr. Kristin Moretto earned her doctorate in Higher, Adult and Lifelong education and master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University. Before joining USF Health, she worked as Assistant Director for Service-Learning at UNCG and has previous experience in faculty development and graduate student career services. She also served as Director of the MSU Student Food Bank for six years. As Director of Experiential Learning, Dr. Moretto oversees Field Experience and Professional Development. She also works to build community partnerships and expand experiential learning opportunities for students through field experience opportunities, service-learning courses, and more.

Roushine Thomas is a Field Experience Coordinator for the College of Public Health. She joined the College of Public Health back in November of 2011. Roushine is currently a student herself at the University of Walden where she is studying Forensic Psychology. In her spare time she enjoys going to the Tampa Bay Lightning games, and hanging out with her family and friends.

Somer has worked at the College of Public Health for nearly 15 years including positions in research, undergraduate teaching, and academic administration. She is also an alumna of the College having earned her MPH in Public Health Education. Currently Somer works with the Public Health Practice Program and the Doctorate of Public Health Program within the Office of Graduate Studies. She spends her free time enjoying her family, friends, travel, and food.

Jessica is originally from the Western New York area where she completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She joined the Department of Global Health in December of 2010 just prior to completing her Masters in Business Administration from the USF Muma College of Business. Jessica enjoys interacting with Global Health students, applicants or anyone interested in a degree, minor, graduate certificate or classes in the department. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, crafting of any kind and spending time with her husband and cats.

saraspear@health.usf.eduSara is originally from New Jersey and studied History and Religion at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. After receiving her Master’s of Education at Rutgers University, she became an Academic Advisor and most recently served in this role at USF’s Honors College. Sara joined the Department of Health Policy and Management in December 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons, and when she has time, likes to read, craft, and travel!
