Starting Fall 2017, the PhD Program in Nursing Science will follow an intensive, executive format to prepare students as a nursing scientist.
Meeting Types: The coursework combines face-to-face meetings a few times per year with asynchronous web-based sessions.
Meeting Dates: Listed below are the in-class meeting dates for knowledge building core PhD courses in the 2017-2018 academic year (courses NGR 7813 and NGR 7814 will follow the traditional calendar in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 respectively).
Orientation: The first hour of the first meeting date every semester will serve as the PhD program orientation for new and returning students (e.g. 8:00 am, Monday, August 21). Individual course meeting times will be distributed at orientation.Note: Students enrolled in Scientific Inquiry Forum are expected to attend class every Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm either in person or via the faculty-designated web application.
