Overview

This article explains how to reset or change your NetID password if you know your current or expired password and already have a profile set up.

Resetting your password

  1. Go to netid.usf.edu
  2. Click on Change your NetID Password
  3. Log in using your USF email and password
  4. Click on Click here to recover your USF NetID password
  5. Enter your NetID into the User ID field and enter the characters in next field (pictured below)

  6. Click the Next button
  7. Select I forgot my password
  8. Select one of the options to verify your account (pictured below)

    If you use your email or phone number, you will be sent a verification code to enter. If you answered the security questions you will continue to Step 8.
  9. Enter your new password  

  10. Click the Finish button
