During your second semester you should meet with your advisor and start planning your field experience
Plan your special project early
- Preparing for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credentialing exam/Comprehensive Exam
- The term before you graduate you should meet with your advisor and review your status

- Participate in the COPH graduation celebration, the USF Health graduation ceremony, and join our USF and COPH alumni communities.

Welcome to University of South Florida (USF) College of Public Health (COPH). On behalf of our faculty, staff, COPH students, and USF Health community we are pleased to welcome you to our Master of Public Health program. The Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) is the primary professional degree in public health.The program provides a set of skills and principles essential for students who intend to apply their training in a professional setting, provides leadership in a specific health specialty to improve and protect the health and well-being of populations. All M.P.H. students complete coursework designed to prepare public health professionals to actively and effectively contribute to population-based, culturally appropriate, and innovative approaches concerning and emerging public health problems.
This guidebook will help you navigate through your M.P.H. program. The College of Public Health M.P.H. Guidebook is a written compilation of current College policies and procedures. It is updated on an ongoing basis. It is the student's responsibility to know and comply with all College and University policies and procedures.
