During college, you might experience a great many stresses in your life – sorting out your independence and identity, establishing and maintaining important relationships, coping with anxiety and depression, finding confidence in a future direction, dealing with body-image or excessive substance use, and handling new academic demands. To help with these challenges and more, the Counseling Center provides a variety of psychological services for all currently registered students on the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida. Appointments are free and confidential.

Most students come to the Counseling Center when their usual ways of handling problems aren't working well. You may find, for instance, that even after talking to friends or family and making attempts to solve your problems, you still feel unsatisfied.

Through individual and group counselingoutreach and consultation we offer you the opportunity to learn how to resolve personal issues that are puzzling or upsetting, talk with a professional who can give feedback from a different perspective, and learn new skills and ways of looking at situations to become more capable at solving problems in the future.

We are here for you with self-help and professional resources to Build Your Inner BULL!
