Objective
During the elective, students will experience primary care sports medicine. Students will spend each day seeing patients in a variety of settings. They will work closely with orthopedic specialists, family physicians and residents, nutritionists, psychologists, physical therapists, and alternative medicine practitioners. Depending on the time of year, the experience will take place in the office, hospital, and community, including sideline and mass event coverage.
