How to get access?

To access StarRez Bronze Lakehouse, please submit a ticket to it-analytics@usf.edu with the following information

How to access StarRez Lakehouse in Bronze layer?

Enter the Server and Database details in the SQL Server Management Studio as below:

Server : 333rw5hf4lpundlhqjqh36o6vi-s3knzrit3dkevll3b3f4q5gzw4.datawarehouse.fabric.microsoft.com

Database: StarRezBronzeLakehouse (Please type in the database name and do not use the dropdown)

Authentication Type: Microsoft Entra MFA.

Once Connected, you will be able to see all the tables you have access to

Steps to Access StarRez Lakehouse using Power BI

 

  1. Connect to Power BI and Select Get Data. Select SQL server from the dropdown options

  1. Enter the Server and Database details as below:

Server: 333rw5hf4lpundlhqjqh36o6vi-s3knzrit3dkevll3b3f4q5gzw4.datawarehouse.fabric.microsoft.com

Database: StarRezBronzeLakehouse

Data Connectivity mode can be DirectQuery or Import depending on the usecase

  1. Authenticate using your Microsoft Account as shown below and click Connect.

  1. You will be able to see all the tables you have access to. Select the tables you need to create reports on as shown below and Click on Load.

  1. You will be able to see all the selected tables in the Power BI Data Pane as below:
