This article explains how to setup your password recovery options for your NetID so that you won't be locked out of your account.

Setting Up Password Recovery Options

  1. Go to netid.usf.edu
  2. Click on the Setup Password Recovery Options link
  3. Sign in with your USF email (netid@usf.edu) and your password

  4. Click Set it up now or Change next to the option you want to setup (pictured below)


    You must set up at least one of the available options.

  5. Enter the information that the option asks for
  6. Click the Finish button (pictured below)
