Tips
Help is provided. Keep the Sitecore v3 Documentation open in a separate browser tab or window to help you as you work.
Want to play with a component? We have provided a Sandbox Page within your Sitecore pages to try things out.
Sitecore works best in chromium browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Other browsers such as Firefox or Safari may not always function properly.

Step 1 - Login
Sitecore requires your USF Single Sign-On (SSO). Visit the following URL: https://cms.health.usf.edu/sitecore/login and click on the large button in the middle of the page. You will be redirected and asked to sign into your USF Single Sign-On email. (If you're already signed into your SSO, you will be immediately redirected to the Sitecore Launchpad.
Step 2 - Open the Experience Editor
Once you are logged into Sitecore, you will be automatically taken to the Sitecore Launchpad. Find and select the button labeled Experience Editor. Once in the Experience Editor you will use the Navigation Bar to get to your training site. (Each person going through training has their own site to perform the exercises within.)
Step 3 - Navigate to your training site
The controls in Sitecore’s Experience Editor are organized in a “ribbon,” similar to how they are organized in Microsoft Office. The functionality you see on the ribbon will vary depending on your permissions. Along the bottom of this ribbon are the Navigation Bar. This is what you will use to navigate between pages. To navigate to a page, click the item or the arrow in the navigation bar and then click Go to navigate to a page in the menu.
Let’s use the navigation bar to access your training site.
In the navigation bar, find and click on the arrow (>) to the right of Home. These arrow buttons reveal a dropdown list of the next places you can navigate to.
Select Sitecore Training in the dropdown and it will be added to your path with another arrow to its right.
Click the arrow after Sitecore Training to reveal the next dropdown list.
A folder with your name should be in this list along with other people doing training.
Select the folder with your name, then select the Overview page, and finally click the blue Go button.
