Students or advisors may initiate the process to plan a Program of Study through the Archivum system.  Once logged into the Archivum system, the student should follow the process below.

Archivum Definitions
News:
Stream of business events generated by processes and user.

Tasks: Assigned work. This is where you will find all your assigned tasks.

Records: Important business data. Records show information about users, requests, etc. Actions can be taken on records.

Reports: Cumulative view of data

Actions: Processes that generate tasks

Related Actions: Actions that are attached to a record and can generate a task

 

Student Process

1) Initiate process through the Actions tab


 

2) Complete the initial request

The student can complete the program of study in consultation with their advisor.  Enter the term the courses may be taken and any electives.  Entering a course number in the course column will bring up a list of courses that match what you enter as you type the course prefix and number.  Once the form is completed it may be sent to the advisor for approval. The advisor may approve the plan or may make some modifications and send it back to the student for the student's approval.  Both student and advisor need to approve the plan before any hold can be removed by administration.

Advisor Process

1) Initiate process by going to the students profile via "My Advisee" list.
2) Select the appropriate student.
3) Initiate the process by clicking on the "Related Actions" tab
        a. Select "COPH Advise Student for Program of Study"

  • You can search for available courses via the Class Schedule Search found in OASIS. The directions for obtaining all of the College courses, or just those for your department, are available at this link: http://health.usf.edu/publichealth/academicaffairs/schedule.html. You can also consult our Static Schedule at the same link, which does not require you to log-in, but please note that this is updated weekly so it may not have the latest information.

  • You can find additional information regarding the curriculum for your program by checking the MPH Program of Study in the MPH Guidebook. MSPH or MHA students can find information in the COPH Catalog or USF Catalog.
