HART Data and Analytics can be accessed with at a USF Tampa Campus location or USF Health locations inside of the USF Health Firewall. Access to D&A is also allowed when using the USF Health domain (on campus) or remotely (Mobile Access Portal or VMWare Desktop while off campus). Once logged in, as a best practice, preferences should be set or verified before work is started in HART. D&A Preferences establish how reports are viewed and worked in HARTD&A.

    Accessing

    HART within Health Domain

    Data and Analytics on Campus or other Health Locations

    If you are a HART D&A Individual logging in through the USF Health network you will be automatically logged into HART after completing the following steps:

    1. Launch your web browser.

      Java version 6 or 7- can use IE 7/8/9/10

       

      Access 
      Internet Explorer is recommended as other browsers may have limited functionality within the system.

       

    2. Access http://www.health.usf.edu/is/common-resources/hart.aspx.Click HSCNET OFFICEdata-and-analytics.
    3. Click Log in to Data and Analytics. See Figure 1.

    4. Log in using your HSCNET User Name and Password and Windows AD authentication. If you are a Forest User, follow the instructions below the Log In button to access D&A with your forest email and password. See Figure 1.
      The Data and Analytics Home page will open.

    Accessing HART

    Accessing Data and Analytics Remotely

    HIPAA requires that all computers accessing the USF Health computer network from outside the USF Health firewall use a secure form of data encryption. USF Health Information Systems provides an application called Connectra for this function. In order to log in from off campus, you must have Connectra. To access Connectra, click here: https://mobileaccess.health.usf.edu/Login/Login. 
    The Setting Preferences when accessing
    HART D&A Remotely section below provides additional steps to ensure that HART D&A runs smoothly when accessing off campus.
     

    If you are logging into HART D&A from home and you have are using Connectra on your computer:

    1. Open your browser and connect to Connectra.

    2. Open a new browser tab once connected.

    3. Access HART url: http://at https://mobileaccess.health.usf.edu/is/common-resources/hart.aspx. Click HSCNET HOME/WIRELESS. See Figure 2.
