Part I 

Demonstrate the following actions:

• Navigate to Test page
• Make edits to text
• Swap an image
• Use the Media Library to upload images and files
• Swap a PDF
• Add content to column builder

Please click here to download the Contributor Assets folder and then unzip the folder in order access the needed content and images. For issues with Sitecore editing and function, please consult the Sitecore Training documentation in Confluence.

Task One: Formatting

1. Open Rich Text Editor.
2. Format "We are not enemies, but friends" to be a Heading 2 in the first block of the Rich Text Editor.
3. Indent the statement.

Task Two: Image Management

1. Delete image on page.
2. Add image “LincolnMonument.”
3. Edit Image Properties. Make the image 500 px.
4. Center image using Float.

Task Three: Document/ Link Management

1. Edit Lincoln Full Inauguration Speech.
2. Change the PDF to “LincolnInauguralSpeech_End.”
3. Edit Link Text to say “End of Lincoln Inauguration Speech.”

Task Four: New Component

Component: Column Builder
Setting: Two Thirds and One Third

1. Click into empty space to add a component to the page.
2. Select Column Builder Two Thirds and One Third.
3. Add a row to add 4 speeches and images of the speech provided.
4. Use the content in the Speeches document to add content in the Sitecore editor.
5. Mimic the bold and paragraph formatting in the document.
6. Place the content in the first column and the image with caption in the second column.
7. Format images as needed.

When complete, please save the page. Specify the training date and access level
in the comment box in the Service Desk ticket.
