Data and Analytics report data may be exported to other popular formats such as Excel and PDF. You may export one or multiple report views. This is dependent upon the number of tabs for the report.

Export to Excel
To export to Excel:
- Run a document (report).
- Click on Export icon. See Figure 1.

Info Report Reports - this option includes all reports (tabs) of the current document as separate worksheets.
Data - this option only includes unformatted data from the back-end query.
- Select the appropriate Excel format (.xls or .xlsx).
- Choose an a radio button option:
- To display data export in a format that is similar to the document as it's displayed before exporting(report) you're viewing, select Prioritize the formatting of the document.
- To display data in text format without merged columns, select Prioritize easy data processing in Excel. See Figure 3.

A File Download dialog box will display. You may either Open or Save the Excel file. See Figure 4.

If you choose Open, Excel will launch and the report data will be displayed with tabs appearing as different worksheets within Excel. If you choose Save, you will be prompted to name and save the file. When exporting to Excel, formulas are not transferred so each cell only contains the displayed value from the document. |
Export as a PDF
To export as a PDF file:
- Run a document (report).
- Click on on Export icon. See Figure 1.
A window will appear for options to Export. See Figure 2.
Info Report Reports - this option includes all reports (tabs) of the current document as separate worksheets.
Data - this option only includes unformatted data from the back-end query.
Select PDF.
Info Click the checkbox for Current Report if you only want to export the current report (tab), but not the other reports (tabs). Choosing to export the current report gives you further options to determine which pages you want to export much like MS Word's print features. - Click OK.
- A File Download dialog box will display similar to Figure 4 above. You may either either Open Saveor Save the Excel file. See Figure 4.
