Welcome alumni! The College of Nursing is thrilled that you are willing to volunteer your nursing skills with us at this time of national need. All volunteers must complete the “Volunteer Serve Application” form found at this link: https://www.usf.edu/hr/employment-resources/hiring/volunteers.aspx. You can also find volunteer guidelines on that page.
Additionally, please complete the education module for the activity in which you will be participating. There are two modules below: one for giving the COVID vaccine, and one for test swabbing for COVID. Both have a short quiz at the end to indicate you have completed it. Again, you don’t need to do both unless you are volunteering for both activities.
After these activities are completed, the next step is to email clinical@usf.edu to let them know of your availability. Someone will contact you to schedule your shifts, and Dr. Denise Maguire will serve as your ‘supervisor’ for these activities, should you need that information. Thanks again for your help!
