2020 Medical Group Compensation and Productivity Survey

AMGA’s Medical Group Compensation and Productivity Survey is now accepting data submissions from medical groups and health systems from across the country.

Now in its 33rd year, the survey is considered the gold standard for bench-marking compensation and productivity in medical groups and other organized systems of care.

Survey Overview

The 2019 Medical Group Compensation and Productivity Survey includes data from a record 272 medical groups representing more than 117,000 practicing clinicians, an 11% increase from the 2018 survey. As in years past, the survey is weighted towards large, multi-specialty group practices. This indispensable resource provides compensation and productivity data from healthcare providers throughout the U.S., including 143 specialties, 27 other healthcare provider positions, and 39 executive and leadership positions.

All survey results are segmented by medical specialty as appropriate, and provide specific breakdowns by size of group and geographic region.
