Comala Document Management

This system is used to monitor and regulate publishing documentation in Confluence.  Assigned workflows allow for defined approval and archiving processes. The system is functional on all Customer facing pages of External Confluence. This does not change the ability for users to edit pages and sections they can edit currently.  This system does not affect permissions in Confluence only when and how pages are approved and published.

Pages within this system will display the following icon next to the page's editing and editor information:

  1. Log into Confluence
  2. Go to the page to be edited
  3. Click Edit

NOTE: When editing pages please consult resources such as Confluence Best Practices and Confluence User Guide Style Guide to make sure pages are formatted correctly for approval.

  4. Click Update

  5. Click Submit

  6. Status is updated to 'In Review'
  7. User is sent JIRA ticket notification

    Page rejected by editor

    1. JIRA ticket is updated with needed changes

    2. User makes edits and resubmits

NOTE: This process repeats until page is approved.

  8. Page Approved by T&D team

  10. Page published with changes
