Overview

USF's Microsoft 365 subscription also includes 5 free downloads. It is available for all students, staff and faculty of the University of South Florida. Each individual is allowed installation on up to five devices at a time. It is available for both PC and Mac.

To Install Microsoft 365:

  1. Go to http://microsoft365.com/ and enter your @usf.edu email address .

    Note
    Students may need to enter their username as NetID@usf.edu (replace NetID with your NetID).

3. If you have not installed software before, click the red Install now button. The website automatically detects your system and provides the best option for you

To see how many installs you have available:

  1. Logged into http://microsoft365.com/, select your Profile Icon at the top right of the webpage.

  2. Select View Account

If you see a device that you no longer use or have, you can select Sign Out next to the device and it will remove your profile license from it.
