There are two different links that can be used to log in.
Using the Test/Training Link
The test/training link below is the link you'll use for training and is a different from the link you'll use to make official edits to your departments website. after you've passed the training and have been given Contributor permissions. ll notice that this link includes the word 'test' inside the URL.
The best practice for preparing to make edits to your site as a Contributor is to test the changes in the test or training environment. This environment reacts the same as the live site and can be used to gauge what would happen on the live site if the changes being made were published.
After passing the certification test and contributor access has been granted, edits can be made within the live Sitecore web pages. A contributor should be comfortable editing within the training site before making changes within the production site.
If off-campus, you can edit within Sitecore by using the VMware View Virtual Desktop. The following link provides instructions on how to download and log in to the remote desktop application: http://health.usf.edu/is/common-resources/VMware
