Project Decisions

4/26/2023

  • At our next meeting, we review final changes and discuss when to make this public.

  • Slolam contract will have a start date of June 5 to get provisioning. Workshop to be during the June 19th week.

4/19/2023

  • Start date for Slolam Consulting SOW is mid-June, specifically, June 19

  • Team decided that we need to have the 8-10 metrics picked out before Slolam engages in the SOW, as well as the college “pages” layout/content defined.

  • Sangita is comparing the granularity of the College Accountability Dashboards with the previous years College Review reports. So far, she has found that additional granularity is needed for some metrics.

  • Document what has changed with the new College Accountability, this should be linked from the front page narrative.

4/17/2023

  • Review of College Accountability web page. The following are items that have been added to the action item list.

    • Make header font on page smaller.

    • If links are not available yet, then break the link (no link set) so it will not appear clickable.

    • Add “Strategic Plan & Metrics Alignment” title

    • Add anchor to legend

    • Landing page should be after College Accountability title and above tiles.

  • Chirag to resize tiles, add legend, add links for Strategic Plan and Accountability Plan

  • Chirag demonstrated the College Accountability web page.

  • Web pages links have been put into a database, so they are easy to change. No links are hard-coded.

  • If a link is not available, it will either not appear or it will let the viewer know.

  • Valeria wants this put behind single sign on. Chirag will provide an estimate.

  • Valeria will provide introductory language on landing page for College Accountability.

4/4/2023

  • April 17th the team will review the College Accountability web pages with a “soft” launch. Meeting has been set up on 4/17 for the team to review.

3/31/2023

  • ODSPA-15246 Student Awards - Valeria said to proceed and the date to get this done will depend on when ONS can get us the data.

  • ODSPA-15247 Percent of Full Time Instructional Faculty with Terminal Degree - Jay let us know that Chirag would have the logic/data. Shruti will reach out to Chirag.

3/29/2023

  • ODSPA-15246 Student Awards - Valeria to prioritize this at a later date(DONE)

  • ODSPA-15242 Tuition - this will be included, but it will simply be a link to RMA, no dashboard or report creation needed

  • Due date for all reports for Sangita and dashboard/report development is 4/17/2023

  • The Go-Live date does not need to include all documentation

  • To do later for Sangita - FTIC Freshmen Retention - would like tables stacked, but is low priority

  • Valeria will let us know if we should plan to go live on May 1st or earlier. The earlier time frame is more likely.

3/22/2023

  • Faculty Awards will include the TARU list of awards as well as others

  • Alumni Giving will be renamed as Gifts Received (percentage)

  • Add epic for Endowment

  • Epic labeled “CA - Metrics Not in PPA but in Strategic Plan” will not be included in the new College Accountability as most of these data are not available at the college level or are not meaningful.

Project Risks

  • The April 17th is the deadline to have all reports created and attempt to display all on the website. The April 17th deadline was a soft deadline and it was extended due to issues brought up by testing, but all were cosmetic changes. Risk was realized and deadline extended. Closed Risk.

  • Receiving external data is dependent upon all departments outside of ODS is not guaranteed. As of April 26th, we do not have the Research dashboards completed.

  • Chirag was busy with IPEDS HR until 4/4. He said he will be able to complete and show by 4/7 College Accountability meeting. Chirag was held up in completing all work by 4/17 due to a conflict in priorities, however, he has the code complete and is working on small cosmetics changes requested by the team. Closed Risk.
