Logging Into Sitecore  

This page of the user guide will help Sitecore Contributors log in to Sitecore so that they are able to edit their pages. If you are not a Sitecore Contributor, you will have to take Sitecore Training before you are given access to the Sitecore editor. 

How to Log In 


Note

Sitecore is only accessible from web browsers such as Chrome and 

FireFox

Microsoft Edge. Sitecore

is not supported on the Internet Explorer platform.

There are two different links that can be used to log in. 

The best practice for preparing to make edits to your site as a Contributor is to test the changes in the test or training environment. This environment reacts the same as the live site and can be used to gauge what would happen on the live site if the changes being made were published.

Test/Training Environment: http://sitecoretestcms.hscnet.hsc.usf.edu/sitecore 

After passing the certification test and contributor access has been granted, edits can be made within the live Sitecore web pages. A contributor should be comfortable editing within the training site before making changes within the production site.

  1. Go to the USF Single Sign-On Sitecore website at cms.health.usf.edu/sitecore/login

  2. Click USF Single Sign-On. (see image below)

If off-campus, you can edit within Sitecore by using the VMware View Virtual Desktop. The following link provides instructions on how to download and log in to the remote desktop application: http://health.usf.edu/is/common-resources/VMware

 

To Log In

Enter your USF Health Username and Password using hscnet\username.

The Sitecore Experience Platform and Experience Editor

The Experience Editor is the best method to edit your page. This editor lets you view your page and edit it as close to real time as possible.

NOTE: Avoid editing in the Content Editor

    If you're already signed into your email / SSO, you will be immediately directed to the Sitecore Launch page
