Graduation Requirement Articulation.

Beginning with MD Class of 2018, all USF MCOM medical students are expected to complete at least twenty hours of documented teaching by the date of graduation. Activities and hours will be logged on the ePortfolio. 

Ms. Shirley Smith will need to sign off on all students’ submission of hours for their acceptability, and will need to approve all teaching submissions outside of MCOM courses (e.g. teaching elective), MCOM approved tutoring, and CACLS/CAMLS teaching. 

While students will have until spring MD year four to meet the graduation requirement, we recommend completing the requirement prior to beginning MD year three clinical rotations.
