Embedding Power BI reports in Confluence pages


  • Make the report a public report and on Confluence page embed using an iframe

  • Create a .NET application, using the Power BI REST API’s, pass the report parameters (report id, workspace id, userid and password) and embed the .NET page on confluence. (Work in Progress)
    SERVER IS TURNED-OFF - So you wont be able to see the embedded report. Please see the attached screen shot .
    Future scope: 
    1. Right now, my credentials are being used  to identify the report and workspace in M-V-C solution. There is a possibility of using SSO instead of that. That will restrict anyone outside USF network to access the report on the page.
    2. Using secure website(ie https://...)
    3. Publish multiple reports
